The AR7210BX receiver transfers the stick inputs of roll, elevator and rudder as commands to rotate the heli with a given speed. When the sticks are in center position this means "do not rotate". On the other hand when you move the stick(s) to a specific amount of full deflection it is not settled how fast the helicopter will rotate. Here comes the control style setting into play which allows to choose between different control behaviors/control styles for your helicopter. This includes the maximum rotation rate of the helicopter as well as how sensitive the AR7210BX will react to stick inputs for aileron, elevator and rudder around the stick centre (Stick expo).

Factory setting for this option is "sport". This should be suitable for most pilots. If you are a rather inexperienced model pilot it is absolutely suggested to select the option "normal" for the first flights. Here the rotation rate on cyclic and rudder is highly decreased and the stick inputs around center are very gentle.

Additionally it is possible to freely adjust the control style with StudioX/StudioXm to your needs and even to store different control styles for the 3 flight modes when using the bank switch feature (PROEDITION firmware only). So you have the ability to switch between different styles in flight.
