Wenn das Gerät mit der App verbunden ist, wähle in der Hauptübersicht "Firmware Update", logge Dich mit Deinem freakware Net Account ein bzw. erstelle einen solchen Account und dann siehst Du alle verfügbaren Firmware Updates. Der AR7210BX mit der BASIC Firmware ausgeliefert, d.h. das System kann alles, was man zum Helifliegen benötigt: 3-Achs Kreisel für Taumelscheibe und Heck sowie interne Drehzahlregelung. Darüber hinausgehende Zusatzfunktionen stehen mit der PROEDITION Firmware zur Verfügung. Das umfasst derzeit zum einen die sog. AttitudeControl, einer integrierten Lagestabilisierung zur Rettung des Helis in kritischen Situationen oder für die Flugschulung, und einer Bankumschaltung mit der fortgeschrittene Piloten unterschiedliche Setups erstellen und im Flug umschalten können. Da diese Sonderfunktionen nicht jeder Pilot benötigt und dafür Geld bezahlen will, können Sie nur auf Wunsch nachgerüstet werden. Das PROEDITION Update kostet derzeit 99 Euro. Sobald das Gerät freigeschaltet ist, kann die entsprechende Firmware über die StudioX App heruntergeladen und auf das Gerät geflasht werden. What does it cost and why isn't it for free?= To upgrade your SPEKTRUM AR7210BX to PROEDITION with rescue bailout you need a computer or smartphone/tablet with the StudioXm app and a suitable interface to connect to your device (BLE2SYS bluetooth interface for smartphone, USB2SYS serial interface for computers). When connected to the device, in the app you go to "Firmware Update", log in or register to the freakware network and then you will see all available updates (requires internet connection). Usually your AR7210BX comes with BASIC firmware which means the device has everything you need to fly a rc helicopter, 3 axis gyro for swashplate and rudder plus internal headspeed governor for controling the throttle. Additionally we offer update files for the socalled PROEDITION. Here you get additional functionality like AttitudeControl for rescue bailout and horizontal stabilization and bank switching, which allows the intermediate pilot to further customize the system to all of his needs. As this functions are not required by any pilot, you don't have to pay for them if you don't need them. On the other hand if you like to have such special features you can upgrade your device by paying 99 Euros once. Then the download is unlocked in the software and you can flash the PROEDITION firmware from the StudioXm app to your device.
