Wenn die AttitudeControl im Flug über einen Schalter zugeschaltet wird, richtet sich der Helikopter horizontal aus, je nach gewähltem Modus stets in Normalfluglage oder auch in Rückenfluglage. So kann der Heli auf Knopfdruck in eine sichere Lage gebracht werden, falls z.B. der Pilot die Orientierung verliert. Anfänger können die AttitudeControl über einen längeren Zeitraum eingeschaltet lassen (vorzugsweise im Modus „Schwebeflugtrainer“). Durch die Horizontstabilisierung wird der Heli sofort wieder in eine relativ sichere Fluglage gebracht, wenn die Steuerknüppel für Roll und Nick losgelassen werden.</p> <p> Wenn im weiteren Verlauf der Begriff „AttitudeControl“ verwendet wird, so wird ganz allgemein auf die Funktion des künstlichen Horizonts Bezug genommen, unabhängig von einem bestimmten Betriebsmodus wie z.B. „Rettungsmodus“ oder „Schwebeflugtrainer“!</p> <p> </p> <p> '''Funktionsweise der AttitudeControl'''<br /> Die AttitudeControl an sich kann über Einstellpunkt L im Parametermenü aktiviert oder deaktiviert werden, indem einer der vorgegebenen Betriebsmodi ausgewählt wird oder kein Modus gewählt wird (bei Microbeast PLUS Firmware Versionen ohne AttitudeControl fehlt dieser Einstellpunkt!). Mit dem zusätzlichen Steuerkanal lässt sich die AttitudeControl vor, während und nach dem Flug über den Fernsteuersender ein- und ausschalten, so dass der Helikopter abhängig vom gewählten Betriebsmodus bei Bedarf stabilisert wird. Vorzugsweise verwenden Sie hierfür einen Schalter oder Tastgeber am Fernsteuersender, der den entsprechenden Kanal betätigt und der einfach und sicher zu erreichen ist.</p> <p> Alternativ kann der vorhandene Kanal für die Heckkreisel-Empfindlichkeit zum Einschalten der AttitudeControl verwendet werden, z.B. wenn ein Standard Empfänger (bei dem nur fünf Steuerfunktionen an Microbeast PLUS angesteckt werden können) oder ein Fernsteuersender mit nur sechs Kanälen verwendet wird.
