Es bestimmt wie schnell und der Drehzahlregler auf Drehzahländerungen reagiert und wie weit das Gas göffnet/geschlossen wird. Idealerweise wird das Ansprechverhalten so hoch wie möglich eingestellt. Ist es zu niedrig dann tourt die Drehzahl auf, wenn der Rotor z.B. im Sinkflug entlastet wird. Ausserdem gibt der Drehzahlregler nur zaghaft Gas, wenn der Hauptrotor belastet wird und Motordrehzahl einbricht. Wenn das Ansprechverhalten zu hoch ist, dann könnte die Regelung überschwingen. Das Gas stottert dann hörbar und/oder der Drehzahlregler wird zuviel Gas geben oder wegnehmen, wenn der Hauptrotor be- oder entlastet wird. Die Gasannahme ist dann sehr abrupt und die Drehzahl wird kurzzeitig überschießen. Die Drehzahlkonstanz ist dann üblicherweise schlechter und das Gas unruhiger als mit niedrigerem Ansprechverhalten. Die maximal einstellbare Höhe hängt von vielen Faktoren ab, wie Heligröße, Rotorblattlänge, Motorleistung und Gasansprechverhalten bzw. auch vom Ansprechverhalten des Motorstellers (bei Elektrohelis). Wenn Sie die Grundeinstellung verändern möchten empfehlen wir mit der niedrigsten Einstellung zu starten und dann das Ansprechverhalten schrittweise zu erhöhen bis zu dem Punkt, bei dem die Drehzahl am besten gehalten wird. Bei Helis mit guter Motorleistung und/oder schnell reagierendem Motorsteller (bei Elektrohelis) kann das Ansprechverhalten üblicherweise sehr hoch eingestellt werden. Helis mit wenig Motorleistung (kleine Verbrennerhelis, Benzinhelis, Scalehelis, Elektrohelis mit schwachen Motor oder Akku) benötigen üblicherweise ein eher sanftes (niedriges) Ansprechverhalten.<br />
