AR7210BX
The AR7210BX is a Spektrum DSMX receiver with built-in MICROBEAST PLUS flybarless technology. The flybarless hardware is basically the same (processor and sensors) and the functionality of the software is nearly identical to MICROBEAST PLUS. The main difference between both devices is that AR7210BX is a Spektrum receiver and in consequence can only be used in combination with a Spektrum DSM2/DSMX radio system.
The AR7210BX is sold als standalone device with basic flybarless firmware including an internal RPM governor function for electric or nitro/gasser helis. It can be upgraded by paid software update to ProEdition firmware which enables enhanced features like bailout/rescue functionality (AttitudeControl) (click here for more information). Also you can get the AR7210BX in combination with BLADE helicopters. Here a special BLADE specific firmware is installed which is preset for use with these helicopter. These devices can have different features compared to the basic firmware as part of the BLADE helicopter bundle. If you like you can convert these devices to the "standard" device with Basic or ProEdition firmware through StudioX at any time.
