MICROBEAST PLUS/PLUS HD/AR7210BX
Will firmware updates delete my current setup?
No, usually not. With MICROBEAST PLUS we try to stay compatible between different firmware versions as good as possible. When settings are different and require readjustment we will explicitly point this out as it is done in the MICROBEAST ProEdition addon manual for example which applies when switching from MICROBEAST PLUS firmware version 3 to version 4.

Will firmware updates delete my current setup?
That depends whether the data version will change due to the update or not. If it is a different number than the current data version number of your device, the system will perform a factory reset right after the update.
