Damit die über den Drehzahlsensor ermittelte Motordrehzahl in die Rotorkopfdrehzahl umgerechnet werden kann, muss die Getriebeuntersetzung des Helikopters angegeben werden. Hierfür werden die Einstellpunkte '''F''', '''G''' und '''H''' verwendet, die in Kombination die Getriebeuntersetzung bestimmen ('''X.YZ:1'''). Bei Einstellpunkt '''F''' wird die Zahl vor dem Komma eingestellt, über die Punkte '''G''' und '''H''' die Nachkommastellen. Vergleichen Sie nachfolgende Tabelle und stellen Sie an jedem Einstellpunkt durch Anwahl mit dem Hecksteuerknüppel die Status LED auf die entsprechende Farbe und den entsprechenden Zustand, so dass sich die gewünschte Untersetzung ergibt.
