You can use nearly any radio system in combination with MICROBEAST ULTRA. Due to the very different types of receivers and radio systems and their different types of signal output, you must setup the radio system in the RECEIVER MENU.<br />

Additionally when using as socalled "single-line" receiver, it is mandatory to define the function assignment for the radio output channels. A single-line receiver bundles the control information to data packages or serialized electrical signals. So it is not clear, which channel controls which (stick) function.<br />

Wenn ein sog. "Singleline"-Empfänger (oder "Summensignal"-Empfänger) verwendet wird, muss die Zuordnung der Fernsteuerkanäle zu den einzelnen Funktionen bestimmt werden, da bei dieser Art der Signalübertragung nicht definiert ist, welcher Steuerkanal welche Steuerfunktion ansteuert.<br />

Since firmware version 5.4.x it is possible to use an ESC with telemetry data output. If you've unlocked the TELEMETRY or PROEDITION feature, MICROBEAST ULTRA can process the telemetry data and forward it to the receiver. Again, there is a huge variety on the market and lots of different types of protocols are used. So it is necessary to setup the type of telemetry input, before you can use MICROBEAST ULTRA with your telemetry system.<br />

Als zusätzliches Feature besteht die Möglichkeit, einen Telemetriefähigen Motorsteller anzuschließen. Wenn das TELEMETRY Feature oder die PROEDITION installiert ist, kann das MICROBEAST ULTRA die Daten vom Motorsteller in ein einheitliches Format umwandeln und sie an den Empfänger übermitteln. Da es auch hier eine Vielzahl unterschiedlicher Systeme und Übertragungsprotokolle gibt, muss der verwendete Motorsteller und das Telemetrie-Protokoll im EMPFÄNGERMENÜ eingestellt werden.<br />

Finally, when using a single-line receiver you have to set a failsafe position for the throttle channel. This defines at which position the motor is disabled and where to move the throttle in case the receiver is not sending any throttle signal, i.e. during power up or in case of loss of radio link.<br />

Abschließend muss noch die FailSafe-Position eingestellt werden. Sie bestimmt, in welche Position das Gas gebracht wird, wenn das Eingangssignal verloren geht, z. B. falls der Empfänger abgesteckt oder die Signalausgabe unterbrochen wird.<br />
