Neben der Grundfunktion als Flybarlesssystem zur Stabilisierung von Modellhubschraubern ohne Hilfsrotorebene kann Microbeast PLUS mit zusätzlichen nützlichen Hilfsfunktionen erweitert werden. Derzeit sind dies die '''Drehzahlreglerfunktion''' und die '''AttitudeControl''' zur Überwachung der Fluglage. Beide Funktionen sind in den Geräten der ProEdition Reihe bereits enthalten, aber auch jedes andere Microbeast PLUS kann um diese Funktionen per Software-Upgrade (ggf. kostenpflichtig) erweitert werden.<br />

With MICROBEAST PLUS you have purchased an electronic control system that continuously detects and controls the commands from the pilot. As a result the system is constantly aware of how the drive system will be burdened. The '''RPM Governor''' system uses this advantage to control the motor rpm. Contrary to conventional motor control systems that only monitor the engine speed, MICROBEAST PLUS can thus react sooner to speed changes. A separate engine governor system is no longer required for nitro helicopters and electric models can be used with a simple (cheap) speed controller without additional features such as soft start or governor mode. The desired rotor speed is specified via the remote control transmitter and MICROBEAST PLUS controls the throttle servo or speed controller accordingly, so that the predetermined head speed is maintained from takeoff to landing. MICROBEAST PLUS offers an integrated soft start for spooling up the rotor before takeoff and a quick start to regain head speed in a controlled manner when practicing autorotation maneuvers. The system is suitable both for electric and nitro/gas helicopters. Using the proven „Easy Setup“ concept no additional equipment is required for programming (apart from your remote control system) and the initial setup is done within minutes.<br />

Mit MICROBEAST PLUS haben Sie ein elektronisches Regelsystem erworben, das die die Steuerbefehle des Piloten ständig erfasst und kontrolliert. Infolgedessen hat das System stets einen Überblick über die auftretenden Belastungen für das Antriebssystem. Der '''Drehzahlregler''' von MICROBEAST PLUS nutzt diesen Vorteil so dass MICROBEAST PLUS aktiv in die Motoransteuerung eingreifen kann. Im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Motorregelsystemen die nur die Motordrehzahl überwachen kann MICROBEAST PLUS früher auf Drehmomentschwankungen und damit verbunden Drehzahländerungen reagieren. Ein separates Drehzahlregelsystem ist bei Helikoptern mit Verbrennungsmotor nicht mehr erforderlich und bei Elektromodellen kann ein einfacher (kostengünstiger) Motorsteller ohne zusätzliche Features wie Sanftanlauf oder Drehzahlregelmodus verwendet werden. Die gewünschte Rotorkopfdrehzahl wird über den Fernsteuersender vorgegeben und MICROBEAST PLUS wird den Motorsteller oder das Gasservo entsprechend kontrollieren, so dass vom Start bis zur Landung die vorgegebene Kopfdrehzahl eingehalten wird. Dabei bietet MICROBEAST PLUS einen integrierten Sanftanlauf für den Start sowie einen Schnellanlauf zum Üben von Autorotationslandungen. Das System ist sowohl für Elektrohelikopter als auch für Helikopter mit Glühzünder- oder Benzinmotoren geeignet. Durch das  bewährte „EasySetup“ Konzept ist abgesehen vom Fernsteuersender kein zusätzliches Gerät für die Programmierung erforderlich und die Programmierung ist innerhalb weniger Minuten erledigt.<br />

Mit '''AttitudeControl''' kann MICROBEAST PLUS die absolute Neigung des Helikopters auf der Roll- und Nickachse bestimmen, unabhängig davon in welcher Position der Helikopter sich gerade befindet. Dies kann in fünf verschiedene Betriebsmodi als Flughilfe verwendet werden:

* Bail out rescue mode (with/without collective pitch)

AttitudeControl helps you to learn new maneuvers and reduces the probability of crashing significantly. If AttitudeControl is switched on in flight the helicopter will be oriented in a nearly horizontal position, depending on the selected mode always in normal or also in inverted flight. So the helicopter can be brought in a save position by the press of a button, i. e. if the pilot becomes disoriented. Beginners can use AttitudeControl permanently (preferably in the „Flight trainer mode“), whereby the helicopter loses the peculiarity of having to be constantly controlled by the pilot. While AttitudeControl is switched on the pilot can simply release the sticks for aileron and elevator and the helicopter will be held almost horizontally without external control commands.<br />

AttitudeControl hilft Ihnen dabei neue Flugmanöver zu erlernen und mindert die Wahrscheinlichkeit eines Absturzes erheblich. Wenn die AttitudeControl im Flug über einen Schalter zugeschaltet wird, richtet sich der Helikopter horizontal aus, je nach gewähltem Modus stets in Normalfluglage oder auch in Rückenfluglage. So kann der Heli auf Knopfdruck in eine sichere Lage gebracht werden, falls z.B. der Pilot die Orientierung verliert. Anfänger können die AttitudeControl über einen längeren Zeitraum eingeschaltet lassen (vorzugsweise im Modus „Schwebeflugtrainer“). Durch die Horizontstabilisierung wird der Heli sofort wieder in eine relativ sichere Fluglage gebracht, wenn die Steuerknüppel für Roll und Nick losgelassen werden.<br />
