Usage instructions

When Bank Switching is activated, all parameters have to be set in the app. This also includes the gains that are usually set with the 3 dials on Microbeast Plus/Ultra, as well as the tail gyro gain. There is one exception: the AttitudeControl gain can still be controlled by a separate switch channel. Only when no additional channel has been assigned in RECEIVER MENU do you have to set the AttitudeGain for each bank in the app, with the selected AttitudeMode being activated depending on the amount of gain.

On Microbeast Plus and Ultra, the dials no longer have any function once Bank Switching is activated - the gyro gain channel is now used to switch between the banks instead. When the gyro channel is in the center position, Bank 2 is active; when the gyro channel is moved in the positive direction, Bank 1 is active; and when it is moved in the negative direction, Bank 3 is active.

Please note that the values may vary slightly - there is actually a small range around the center position, so you do not have to set the gyro channel to exactly 0% to activate Bank 2. The signs may also be interchanged, depending on the type of radio system used. Either way, you can see in the app which bank is currently active, and on Microbeast Plus/Ultra you can also read the current bank from the device's LED display. Each time you change the bank, the Menu-LEDs will light up for 4 seconds and indicate, like a small bar, which bank is selected: bar at the top is Bank 1, bar in the middle is Bank 2, bar at the bottom is Bank 3.

Following the bank display, you will see the AttitudeControl display for an additional 4 seconds. When LED A flashes, AttitudeControl is off; otherwise one of Menu-LEDs B - N shows the amount of AttitudeControl gain (see the AttitudeControl instructions for more information).

NANOBEAST does not have individual Menu-LEDs. The currently active bank and the AttitudeControl status/gain can be read from the StudioX Flow app instead.

In order to use Bank Switching in flight, you can either assign a 3-position switch on your transmitter to the gyro channel (which is now used for bank switching) and select banks freely, or you can link the gyro channel to your flight mode switch, so that the parameter banks are set automatically for each flight mode.
