Update files for MICROBEAST, Trajectory and AR7200BX will be created exclusively for your device and mailed to the given address! To request an update the serial number for the device is necessary. Please have a look here, if you don't know where to find the serial number. The update files can be uploaded to the unit by using the update functionality of StudioX. Also you can get firmware updates directly from within StudioX 2.0 (see here).
Updating MICROBEAST PLUS can be directly done from within StudioX 2.0 only.
MICROBEAST PLUS
Current firmware versions available:
4.0.0 This version is an upgrade version that brings new features to your MICROBEAST PLUS device. At the moment there are offered two versions: one with RPM Governor only and the full featured Pro-Edition with RPM-Governor and AttitudeControl. As these versions enhance the functionality of MICROBEAST PLUS, we will charge some fee for these. Despite of the additional features there is no functional difference to firmware version 3.2.0. So if you don't need the additional features there is no must to buy them.
* The RPM Governor can be used for electric and glow helicopters. It has built in soft start and autorotation bail out function. The control it quite similar to electric speed controllers with governor function, so you simply set your throttle curves as switches for "motor off", "headspeed 1", "headspeed 2" and "autorotation bailout". Adjusting complex throttle curves is not necessary anymore and the helicopter will maintain the specified rotor head speed over the whole flight. Optional the nitro governor can be also used in classic style with throttle curves and a separate switch for governor/rpm control.
